Meta is installing tracking software on US-based employees’ computers to capture mouse movements, clicks, keystrokes, and screenshots to train AI agents. The Model Capability Initiative will run on selected workplace apps and websites to help AI models learn human computer behavior, including dropdown navigation and keyboard shortcuts. Meta said the data will be used only for AI training and not performance evaluation, with safeguards for sensitive content. The initiative is part of Meta’s Agent Transformation Accelerator program aimed at building AI agents capable of completing everyday workplace tasks autonomously.
