Microsoft has dismantled the Nigerian-led RaccoonO365 phishing network, seizing 338 malicious domains aimed at credential theft from Microsoft 365 users. This operation, led by the Digital Crimes Unit, marks one of the most significant efforts to combat sophisticated phishing attacks. "Cutting off hundreds of phishing domains means fewer victims and less stolen data," states Microsoft. The initiative underscores the ongoing battle between cybercriminals and defenders, highlighting the need for stronger global cybersecurity partnerships.
