Under the Ministry of MSME, Bhubaneswar Tool Room crafted 54,000 aerospace components of 437 types for Chandrayaan-3, revealed Union Minister Narayan Rane. Commending ISRO's triumph, he emphasized MSME's vital role. He noted both scientists and MSME contributed significantly to Chandrayaan-3's realization. The Union Minister Narayan Rane informed that IDEMI Mumbai, another institute under the Ministry, also played an important role in manufacturing of parts for Chandrayan-3. Rane predicted global and national gains from the mission's success. He noted MSME's omnipresence, linking its role from the spinning wheel (Charkha) to space exploration. Rane applauded historical space achievements and foresaw MSME's pivotal role in future missions. India's recent feat makes it the first to soft-land near the lunar south pole, joining the ranks of the US, Soviet Union, and China.
