The Ministry of Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises (MSME), Government of India, organized the National SC-ST Hub (NSSH) Conclave in Jhabua, Madhya Pradesh, to promote an entrepreneurial culture and raise awareness about the NSSH Scheme and other Ministry schemes. At the Conclave, the Minister emphasized the vital role played by the MSME sector in India's economy. The sector contributes significantly to GDP and exports and generates employment in rural and backward areas. Madhya Pradesh has immense mining and food processing potential, and the Ministry is committed to supporting such ventures in the state. A technical session was held for SC-ST entrepreneurs. CPSEs like GAIL, BSNL, and FCI explained their empanelment processes and showcased the products/services from SC-ST-owned MSEs. Financial institutions such as SBI, SIDBI, and Bank of Baroda outlined lending schemes for MSMEs.
