Google.org has committed N3 billion ($2.1 million) to Nigeria, aimed at accelerating the nation’s digital transformation through AI talent development and enhanced cybersecurity. This initiative supports Nigeria's National AI Strategy, which seeks to create one million digital jobs. The funding will be administered via organizations including FATE Foundation and the African Institute for Mathematical Sciences to develop AI curricula, foster innovation, and improve online safety, ultimately positioning Nigeria as a future tech leader.
