Both U.S.-based firms are reportedly seeking substantial floor space, approximately 25,000 square feet each, to accommodate their growing European operations, as they transition from smaller shared workspaces. Anthropic designated Dublin as its EMEA headquarters after opening its office in 2024, joining existing European locations like London and Paris. Similarly, OpenAI is planning further hiring in 2026 as it expands its existing Dublin operations, established in 2023, within a city that already hosts regional offices for other major technology corporations.
