Oracle will offer cloud services running on Cerebras Systems’ AI computers in its data centers from 2027. The companies announced the deal, giving the Nvidia challenger another large customer after OpenAI and Amazon Web Services. Cerebras builds each chip from a whole silicon wafer and says this design lets its systems answer AI requests much faster than rivals. Oracle Cloud Infrastructure plans to launch the service in 2027 but did not disclose how much Cerebras hardware it will deploy. Cerebras, which went public in May, is expected to triple revenue next year to almost $3 billion. Investors still question its position in a market where Nvidia generates close to $100 billion in sales each quarter. Cerebras shares rose about 9.5% on the news. Oracle made the announcement at its AI World conference alongside other chip deals and plans $70 billion in capital spending for the year to May 2027.
