Sify Technologies Limited has launched Chennai 02, South India's largest AI-ready data centre campus with a 130-megawatt capacity. The facility features power density ranging from 8-25kW for air-cooled racks and up to 200kW for liquid-cooled workloads, specifically designed to host dense AI operations. Chairman Raju Vegesna announced investments exceeding ₹10,000 crore, projecting employment for 10,000 people. The NVIDIA DGX-ready certified facility marks a significant expansion of Sify's data centre footprint, which already spans major Indian cities including Mumbai, Bengaluru, and Hyderabad.
