The Small Business Administration emphasizes the importance of supporting small businesses during the coronavirus pandemic. Small businesses, particularly in retail, support millions of jobs in the US, with nearly 10 million retail employees working at establishments with less than 100 employees in 2021. Buying locally and independent not only supports small businesses but also the people who depend on them for their livelihood.
