Taiwan President Lai Ching-te inaugurated a new cloud computing centre in Tainan on December 12, designed to enhance the island's "sovereign AI" initiative. The 15-megawatt facility features the “Nano 4” supercomputer, housing 1,760 Nvidia H200 chips and 144 Blackwell chips. This project, part of Taiwan’s "Ten Major AI Infrastructure Projects," positions the country as a hub for AI development and high-performance computing in the global market, proving its advanced technological capabilities.
