Bangladesh's mobile operators, including Grameenphone, Robi, and Banglalink, are introducing Internet of Things (IoT) solutions to address various concerns related to home and vehicle management. These smart devices enable users to remotely monitor and control appliances at home or in the office, as well as vehicle features. Grameenphone launched eight types of IoT solutions under the brand name Alo, including vehicle tracking systems, remote-controlled sockets and switches, gas and smoke detectors, and more. These devices aim to offer smart home, office, and transportation solutions, enhancing convenience and peace of mind for users. The IoT products are part of a strategic move by telecom operators to diversify their services and extend beyond traditional voice and data offerings. Grameenphone, Banglalink, and Robi are actively introducing IoT solutions to meet evolving consumer needs and stay at the forefront of technological advancements in Bangladesh.
