xAI has introduced Grok Bot, an AI-powered teammate designed to handle multi-step tasks across apps, websites and workplace tools with limited human intervention. Announced on August 11 and currently in beta, each Bot gets its own computer in the cloud. This lets it interact with software and sites much like a human user, including platforms that lack a dedicated API. Users assign work through ordinary chat on desktop or phone. The Bot can learn workflows by watching demonstrations, remember preferred steps and return only when approval or a decision is required. Examples include updating CRM records, preparing sales follow-ups, processing invoices, reproducing software bugs and creating engineering tickets. Multiple Bots can run in parallel, exchange information and coordinate in shared conversations. Grok Bot is available to SuperGrok Heavy, Cursor Ultra and Cursor Teams Premium subscribers. Enterprise access is on a waitlist.
