YouTube will enforce Australia’s under-16s social media ban by automatically signing out users under this age starting December 10, 2025. Rachel Lord, Google and YouTube Australia's public policy senior manager, emphasized the platform's previous opposition to the law, citing that it restricts children from accessing the safety features of accounts.
