The agents combine industry expertise with each company’s knowledge, workflows and connected systems to take action and automate up to 80% of workflows. The launch includes Industry Agents, ready for common high-value tasks in a given sector, and Custom Agents that businesses create around their own processes and policies. Industry Agents start with commerce, where they can help customers shop, manage orders, process returns and exchanges, resolve delivery issues and handle refunds. They connect to systems such as Shopify, Narvar, Stripe and Riskified. Zendesk plans to expand the approach later to financial services, media and technology. Custom Agents are built in Agent Builder, a no-code environment. Customers have already run more than 1 million Custom Agent executions within seven weeks, with some seeing automated resolution rates rise 10% after deployment.
